Physical, Mental and Spiritual Well Being
Spiritual
Part of our overall health must include our spiritual health, which is an important aspect of our lives.
We should ask ourselves, "For what are we living and working? And what will be the outcome of it all?"--ST Nov. 21, 1892
Physical
As we remove the hindrances to self-healing, and provide the body with the ingredients that will re-build the immune system, essential organs, and the self-healing mechanism God placed within our body, the body will almost always heal itself of whatever ails it.
Mental Clarity
Few realize that it is a duty to exercise control over their thoughts and imaginations. It is difficult to keep the undisciplined mind fixed upon profitable subjects. But if the thoughts are not properly employed, religion cannot flourish in the soul. The mind must be preoccupied with sacred and eternal things, or it will cherish trifling and superficial thoughts. (Ps. 119; James 4:7,8). Both the intellectual and the moral powers must be disciplined, and they will strengthen and improve by exercise.--OHC 111 (1881). (James 1:22-25)
"The study of the human body should always be a search after the will of God, with obedience as the purpose, which makes the restoration of character the goal. This is why teaching and healing should never be separated." Ministry of Healing, p. 141.
There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Prov. 14:12
